Survival kit: the compromise between consultation and support

Our SURVIVAL KIT is an exclusive service that offers you customized advice for your relocation.

With an online consultation to prepare for your departure, a follow-up email, and a meeting upon your arrival, our SURVIVAL KIT is a good plan for all those who don’t want to (or can’t) take advantage of our personalized support services for their relocation to Montreal.

Our clients appreciate our efficiency:

  • We help you navigate administrative formalities: which documents to prepare, which office to go to, which day and at what time, and how.
  • We will point you toward the best neighbourhoods in Montreal for you. You will also benefit from a coaching session on your housing search by a professional real estate agent.
  • We offer you personalized advice on the matters that concern you the most: healthcare, schools, day cares, insurance, integration, moving, etc.
  • We put you in contact with our handpicked partners.

The story of Alexandre, France:

Alexandre is 22 years old, and he has always dreamed of living in North America. Fate smiled on him when a large French bank offered him a position through the French International Internship programme (V.I.E.).

The survival kit was the ideal solution for him (and for his parents!).

Together we planned for every aspect of his move: bank account, temporary housing, administrative procedures, insurance, daily life, arrival at the airport… This enabled Alexandre to prepare with total serenity, and his parents to be reassured that their youngest would start off his new life in Montreal on the right foot.

We met Alexandre the day after his arrival in our offices. We spent two solid hours with him tackling all the practical questions: public transportation, administrative registrations, healthcare, neighbourhoods, housing search, renting with a roommate, telephone service, shopping, etc.

Alexandre ultimately found housing with roommates in a student neighbourhood, and had a successful cross-Atlantic move.
